I love the world of 3D printing! Need incredibly complex geometry? Need interlocked pieces? No worries! But what surprised me the most was which 3D prints I find myself using the most.

Daily Tasks

Often, the most useful items are particularly adept at one simple, daily task.

I have found these chip bag clips to be so. A simple task, but always one I find myself looking for a chip clip that doesn't seem to exist. When you're able to print them, you can have a multitude of them on hand, especially when paired with the specially designed container!

Small and Useful

Other times it's so small and so incredibly useful it's impossible to walk away from, like this bottle cap container, or this car headrest hanger. In need of AA or AAA batteries often? Reach for this little container! One of my personal creations is this one; a keyring hanger for MOLLE/PALS gear!

Loved ones a little happier

Sometimes it's not so much an everyday task as it is something helpful to the one person that matters in your life; enter the Dutch Blitz Card box.

Oddball; Too Specific to Buy

If you have an orphaned piece of gear that you're loath to part with, maybe there's a workaround! I was not in a position to replace a lapel mic, especially when the only problem was the belt clip being broken, so I made a holster for it! I had a Vivitar Audio interface that was missing a fader control.

I wanted to launch my model rockets with a rod guide more substantial than a drinking straw, so... I made one! Need to tie off your parachute into an Estes cardboard tube, but need a little more purchase than flat paper on round cardboard?

With all of this, I find it interesting; most of my prints are actually very, very simple, but they fill a role that would be hard to match in any other way. Simple prints, specific roles
